One of my boys is not good at staying inside the horse fence, so he'll have to stay on leash the next time, since his recall is not great. She has a bathroom if needed, which is so nice. 55What a great, wide open spot to wander! Hilly and uneven terrain with lots of horse poop, but that was to be expected. Like others have mentioned- wear boots. No shade or trees in the non horse field.
My dog has never seen horses up close, and I could tell she was a little overstimulated by them so we kept our distance, which was easy cause the space is so large and the horses were fenced up by the parking area/entrance gate.
Really lovely & quiet spot, we’ll for sure be back. Also- super nice to have an indoor bathroom available.Helena H.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
